Congratulations to the Boys Soccer team! Fr John and Ms. Sullivan were at the game and high fived them all after their win that made them the 2023 Middle School Champs!
The students loved decorating the school’s entry for the Big Dog Show at the Bradford Common! The theme for our dog was “Clifford the Big Red Dog” and we want to thank Servpro of Haverhill/Newburyport and Michelle Lavigne for their sponsorship!
The fifth grade recently attended the Boston Symphony Orchestra and had a tremendous time! We wouldk like to thank the Catholic Schools Foundation Boston for donating the tickets!
Second grade is doing an in-depth study of owls. As part of our study , Wingmasters visited us Tuesday! The children got to see owls up close and personal as well as share all their knowledge and learn even more!

This morning, Fr John performed a “Blessing of the Stuffed Animals” for grades 1-4 at big school, followed by another up at the Early Childhood Center for Nursery-K. The children loved it, and it was a wonderful way for them to learn more about St. Francis. It was a beautiful way to start the day!
Faculty and staff of SHS recently participated in CPR training. We would like to thank Mr. Steve Miller of Trinity Ambulance and current parent, Mrs. Bridget Clifford, for providing manikins. Also, a big thank you to North Andover firefighter and former parent, Mr. Jeff Deschenes, for facilitating the training.
Kindergarten students in Mrs. Bergeron’s library class loved "The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!" The 3rd grade students enjoyed creating bookmarks and choosing library books to borrow. In the words of Dr. Seuss, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
We hope you can join us for a special Mass welcoming our new principal, Susan Sullivan! Mass will take place on August 13th at 9am. Refreshments will follow in the Sacred Hearts School gymnasium.
Three Sacred Hearts students representated the school at the 2023 MA State Middle School Track Meet this weekend. Isabella Miller placed 4th in the 400 meters, Georgia Abrams placed 5th in the 400 meters, and Christian Miller placed 6th in the 800 meters. Congratulations to them on such wonderful accomplishments!
