Kindergarten students in Mrs. Bergeron’s library class loved "The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!" The 3rd grade students enjoyed creating bookmarks and choosing library books to borrow. In the words of Dr. Seuss, “The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
We hope you can join us for a special Mass welcoming our new principal, Susan Sullivan! Mass will take place on August 13th at 9am. Refreshments will follow in the Sacred Hearts School gymnasium.

For the culmination of this year's ECC annual butterfly experiment, they were released into the wild, to the great joy of the children! The students loved watching them grow and change and had a wonderful time watching the butterflies be set free to explore the world!
The May Procession was a beautiful tribute to our Mother Mary. The students, lead by our graduating 8th graders, processed up to the Early Childhood Center for the annual Crowning of Mary ceremony.
The 8th grade recently went to NYC for their class trip. Their itinerary was jam packed with sightseeing and shows. The students had so much fun and learned a great deal about our country’s largest city. It was a trip to remember!
Mrs. Daley & Mr. Wholley's 5th grade students recently went on a field trip to "River as a Classroom," by the National Park Services in Lowell. Students modeled polluted ground and surface water and then filtered the water. Their classroom for the day was a pontoon boat on the Merrimack River! The steudents tested the river water's temperature, nitrate level, pH level, and oxygen level.
Our second graders recently participated in the Sacrament of First Communion. It was a beautiful day and we would like to congratulate all the First Communicants!
The 7th & 8th Grade Science Fair was tremendous! The students put together insightful and thorough presentations on their chosen topics. A big thank you to Mrs. Kurto and all the students involved for making this year’s Science Fair a huge success.
The students in grades 5-8 researched and presented facts about their assigned country to the younger grades as well as parents during the event. The students had a lot of fun and learned so much about the different cultures around the world. A big thank you to foreign language teachers Mrs. Safi and Señora Llerena for all their work with the students.
Mrs. Bergeron's 4th Grade Library Students recently completed a project on historical figures. Some students chose to make puppets, while others made Head-In-Hole posters of their chosen figures. Each student presented their project to their class and described the person they chose. What a great way to learn about important people in our history!
