There are myriad opportunities for students to participate in school activities other than athletics. Older students can run for Leadership team, and work to lead the student body in activities and service projects, or qualify to compete locally on our Academic Bowl teams. Students can participate in Drama Club, Chess Club, Destination Imagination, Recycling Club, Lego League, Choir, or the school Newspaper. Our Fall Fair, Halloween Party/Dance, and Christmas Parade float provide opportunities for seasonal fun. Information about various activities can be found in the Events and Activities Guide. We are proud of our students and thank them for sharing their unique talents with our school community.
Sacred
Hearts Student Leadership Team
The Student Leadership Team is a group of students elected by their peers to lead the student body in various activities, including service projects, planning events such as school dances, etc. We look forward to introducing the new members in Grade 6, 7 and 8 for the 2010-2011 school year.
The Student Leaders of 2009/2010

Sacred
Hearts
School Choir
The school choir is led by Mrs. Jennifer Scarci with musical accompaniment by Mrs. Blain during practice. The choir sings at the First Friday school mass and the 9:00am Children's mass at the church. They do a wonderful job of enhancing the spiritual experience through their uplifted voices! Thank you to our 2009/2010 choir, pictured below, for all their hard work.

Sacred
Hearts
Academic Bowl
The Academic Bowl is a competition
where students with academic talents may mix and share experiences.
Each middle school, including St. Joseph and Sacred Hearts,
fields a team of 7th, and 8th graders for the Senior
Division, while the Junior Division consists of 5th and 6th graders. It is funded
through the Gifted and Talented Program for the Haverhill
Public Schools.
