All students are required to purchase an agenda book.
We expect that every student will ALWAYS have a book to read for enjoyment during the school year.
Take advantage of the summer to catch up on some reading. We will be looking forward to hearing what you have read for pleasure and your opinions of these books.
Your required summer reading consists of two books:
Lord, Cynthia. Rules
Schmidt, Gary D. The Wednesday Wars
An assessment of these books will be given during the first full week of school. Notes should be taken as you are reading the books so you can review the story before the assignment.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and preparation. Have a safe and wonderful summer and come back rested and ready for a great beginning to the new school year.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Paula Keleher
Mrs. Susan Lawver
Information about upcoming assignments and other classroom information can be found at Mrs. Lawver's and Mrs. Keleher's Schoolnotes pages. Simply click into the "Students" area and type in the zip code of the school (01835), and find Mrs. Keleher's name in the list. Schoolnotes pages are provided as a convenience for parents and students; however, the classroom agenda book should always be looked to as the first source of information on assignments.
