Sacred Hearts Early Childhood Center offers a Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten program.

NURSERY

Age 3 by August 31st
2 Day Program - Wednesday/Friday
8:30 A.M. - 12:00 Noon

• Focus on social interactions through learning to play, work and communicate with other children.
• During story time, playtime and group activities, the children are encouraged to cooperate and interact with Teachers and other children. While there is time for individual exploration, children in this program, work together to develop a variety of age appropriate skills.

PRE-KINDERGARTEN

Age 4 by August 31st
3 Day or 5 Day Program
8:30 A.M. - 12:00 Noon

• Focus on developing those skills needed for Kindergarten.
• The children build upon the social skills gained in the Nursery Program and are encouraged to develop their fine motor, listening and school readiness skills. In addition, they are given an introduction to number and letter recognition through activities designed to promote early literacy skills in math and language. Group times and circle times include opportunities for Art, Music, Science, and Dramatic Play.
