Sacred Hearts Early Childhood Program is committed to providing a warm, caring, Christian setting where our students are encouraged to develop their talents, express their individuality and explore their environment. The program offers a curriculum which fosters self-esteem and respect for others in a community of faith.

Goals

Sacred Hearts Early Childhood Center promotes the development and self-esteem of each student.

We encourage our students to experience learning through play and hands-on activities.

Our focus is on the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of each student.

We encourage parental involvement in all aspects of the preschool learning experience both in the classroom and in the home.

We help each student relate positively to others through modeling of Christian values.

Program Highlights

Our curriculum is designed to assess and promote development in the following areas:

• Social/emotional Physical—Gross Motor and Fine Motor
• Cognitive
• Language and Literacy which includes “Lively Letters” and “Writing without Tears”
• Small Group Settings, with excellent teachers-student ratios
• Qualified staff of licensed teachers and professionals
• On-going systematic evaluations
• In addition to our Academic program, each Pre-School Program incorporates religion into the day
